Fantasy Picks: Week 13

Steven Jackson

QB Jon Kitna- Kitna promised the Lions would win ten games, and their schedule is rough the rest of the way. This week he faces the leagues worst passing defense in the Minnesota Vikings. The Lions offense run by Mike Martz is pass, pass, and pass again. With those great receivers, expect Kitna to have a huge game.

RB Steven Jackson- Jackson has been a major bust this season for fantasy owners, because of his injuries. Now he is healthy, and looking to help his team  win some games. Going up against a poor Atlanta team, the Rams should have a big chance to get a win here. The best way for them to win, is to give the ball to SJ. Start Jackson with confidence, and reap the benefits.

RB Justin Fargas- A bit of a sleeper here. In some league Fargas is still on the waiver wire. He has been playing great football lately, and has taken over Lamont Jordan’s spot as the starter in Oakland. The Broncos can’t stop the run if their lives depended on it. Expect Fargas to have well over a 100, and at least one touch down. Fargas is also a great play if you are in a salary cap league.

WR Roy Williams- I think this is a huge game for Williams. I just have to use the same logic I did for Kitna. The Lions love to pass, the Vikings can’t stop the pass, and Williams is a great receiver. Roy has been quiet lately, but this is a recipe for a break out game.

WR Braylon Edwards- Edwards is having a monster season, and expect this to continue. He is clearly a must start every week type of guy right now. With almost 900 yards already, and 11 TDs, Edwards has emerged as one of the leagues best. Look for him to get in the end zone again against the Cardinals.

WR Lee Evans- Evans has dealt with a lot of injuries, and other issues this year. He had 2 good games coming back, and then 3 games with almost nothing. He is due to break a deep one. Evans will score this week.

TE Jason Witten- All the talk this week is about how Green Bay is gonna slow down TO. Well what about this emerging star Jason Witten? You basically pick your poison with Dallas, and I think Witten gets his this week.

D New England Patriots- Everybody thinks the Eagles made a blue print to attack the Pats? I don’t think so. Not every team has the Eagles personnel to look so good on offense. The Ravens offense leaves much to be desired, and if Todd Heap does not play, look for New England to dominate them.
