I hate side line reporters. Why do TV networks even have them? All they do is usually report garbage information, that the announcers could easily say themselves. They are basically wanna be news anchors. I now hate one side line reporter in particular, because of her fake report on Donovan McNabb. Pam “Gigantic Forehead” Oliver is the culprit, and here is what she had to say:
“Donovan really seems to believe that his days in Philadelphia are numbered. When I spoke with him before the game, I got the impression that Donovan is a little hurt by what he sees as an organization distancing itself from him and an organization that’s overly concerned about the negative fan reaction to him. But Donovan told me point blank: My knee is not an issue. The next place I go, I will win, and also that he will keep a smile on his face for as long he’s in an Eagles uniform.”
Forehead got the impression? Either Pam Oliver is really dumb, or she ran with Philadelphia fans feeling of McNabb and fabricated this little story of hers.
The fans and the media are the ones who are looking for Donovan to be gone. After the game Donovan responded with this:
“I am denying that I said it,” McNabb said following Sunday’s 10-6 win over the NFC East champion Dallas Cowboys. “Make sure you get it right. That’s what she thought. They didn’t say that I said that. So for all you guys, I’ll be here. … Did I say that? No, she said that. I didn’t say that.”
I guess that puts this issue to bed then.
Eagles president Joe Banner, head coach Andy Reid, and owner Jeffrey Lurie have all publicly expressed their support for Donovan, and said he will return next season.
Pamela was just trying to stir the pot, and she accomplished it. The fact that I have to blog about her big fat head just shows that the issue is creating conversation about her, and could potentially give that horrible broadcast better ratings.
Donovan should never talk to her again. How can Five even look at a woman who’s hair line looks like it has receded further than his? I guess she is not so bad if you turn her around.
