Football Gods Strike Down Upon Owens
The Eagles were unable to take Terrell Eldorado Owens out in last Sunday’s game, but the Carolina Panthers handed him his annual injury. The Football Gods have finally answered my prayers.
In an eerily similar image to Owens being hurt in 2004, T.O.’s leg was bent behind him awkwardly as he was being tackled. Clearly Owens was hurt, as he hobbled off the field(again refusing to be carted) and left the game for X-rays.
No updates yet, but speculation is that he suffered a high ankle sprain. That is exactly the same initial report back in 2004. The next day they then reported he fractured his fibula, and tore two ligaments.
Tony Romo better not say that the team can win without Owens, or T.O. will flip out. The melt down is appearing even more inevitable than ever.
