ITI’s Top Ten of 2008

10. Andre Igoudala- He is the young talented player on the Sixers right now. Not a tremendous player, but he will impact how well the Sixers do. I could have put Cole Hamels here, but I figured I needed at least one Sixer on the list.

9. Ed Stefanski- The new Sixers GM made his first trade by trading Kyle Korver to Utah. What other moves will he make? Will he trade Andre Miller? Stefanski holds the Sixers future in his hands.

8. Danny Briere- The big off season acquisition seems to be making a huge impact this season. Briere is small in stature, but lightning fast, and has a knack for scoring. He should lead the Flyers back into the playoffs.

Chase Utley (blogs.phillynews.com/inquirer/zozone/)7. Paul Holmgren- The new Flyers GM has taken a terrible team(last year) and made them pretty good already. He has made major shakeups with this team, including trading for Martin Biron, signing Daniel Briere, making many other trades, and most recently extending Mike Richards for life.

6. Andy Reid- Philadelphia is always a football town first,m and the Eagles faithful will be keeping their eyes glued to the moves that Andy makes. He has the power to get the Birds back to contending for a Super Bowl.

5. Donovan McNabb- Despite all the trade rumors, McNabb will be back. He is the QB of the Philadelphia Eagles, and will be the main focus of fans next season.

4. Ryan Howard- The 2006 MVP is the big bopper for the fightin Phils. He has quickly risen to super star status in Philadelphia, and is one of the most popular athletes in town.

3. Jimmy Rollins- This seasons MVP made a bold statement of winning the NL east, and then backed it up with his tremendous play. Rollins is another fan favorite, who now predicts the Phils should win 100 games in 08′.

2. Brian Westbrook- The best player on the Philadelphia Eagles is Westbrook. He is the real “Ultimate Weapon”, and proved that by breaking multiple franchise records in 2007. Despite the 8-8 season Westbrook can carry this team to the playoffs next year.

1. Chase Utley- Utley is a awesome second baseman, and just a great guy off the field. Despite having a quiet demeanor, Utley is clearly a huge fan favorite. I think Utley keeps the streak going, and for the third straight year brings the MVP award to Philadelphia.
