I have to say I completely disagree Gehenna.

First off he treated TO will a ton of respect. The problem was TO gave nobody else respect.

As far as Stallworth goes, he publicly said he would love to play for the Eagles. He left because New England offered him the best deal. That was all due to money, and nothing to do with McNabb’s respect/lack of respect for his receiver.

Majority of the NFL genuinely likes McNabb, and shows him a great deal of respect. McNabb has always been full of class, and shows everybody respect. That is far from the problem.

I think asking for weapons on offense isn’t going to work as everyone remembers what happened the last time the Eagles had a true playmaker playing with him. On a side note, I’d be more concerned with the team in green getting rid of the big Mac. If I were a bears fan he’d look awfully appealing….hell, he’d look great in a niners uniform while were imagining things…

I get that McNabb needs weapons, and I agree. But here’s the problem– clearly he can’t get along with them for some reason. He had TO and that didn’t work out (even though he’s doing just fine in Dallas). He had Stallworth in one of the few good years he ever had, and how did Stallworth respond? He left to go to New England.One of the reasons I think this happens (and I’ll admit, I’m an outsider) is that the man doesn’t seem to treat the weapons he has with respect. Brian Westbrook is one of the great weapons in the game, and he wasn’t even smart enough to say, "we need more weapons to compliment Westbrook." Instead, he basically says that he’s great but just got hurt. Well, maybe, but what does Westbrook feel about this?How long can a team rally around a guy like this?-Dave, Riggo’s Rag
