Linced Up: Divisional Round Playoff Edition

I hate watching the playoffs without the Iggles. It brings the excitement level from a ten down to a two. Last week I went 3-1 with my playoff predictions, and now I will strive for perfection. Here are this weekends picks:
Jaguars 14 Patriots 23
Seahawks 13 Packers 21

Of course your going to pick the Giants over Cowboys. Thats a surprise. Everytime Eli has one or two good games, suddenly he has made the turn, he’s turned in to his brother. He is as inconsistant as Jason Campbell and he has Dumb Face. Mark this eagle man, Cowboys will win. I can be realistic, it will probably be a shoot out, a close one but the Cowboys will win. Hate to bust your bubble, I know the terrible Eagles are enough bad news for one season. I can’t imagine what it must feel like to have to watch the losers that make up that awful eagle crew. Without T.O. your pussy birds didn’t even dent the playoff picture this year. Lightning in a bottle last year didn’t get you very far either. Sad. <grin> Funny too.
January 11th, 2008 at 9:12 pmWell first off, ‘lightning in a bottle’ got the Iggles a few plays away from the NFC Championship game.
Second, the Birds were good before TO, and have been after TO. They had an 8-8 season due to McNabb’s knee issues early on, and some bad breaks.
Third, this ‘awful Eagle crew’ held Dallas to only 6 points the last time they played each other. If Quinton Mikell does not fumble the ball after he intercepted Romo in the end zone, Dallas only scored 3 points.
The NFC is just lucky that the Eagles are not in the playoffs, because they were playing their best football at the end of the season.

And your right the NFC is lucky the eagles aren’t in the playoffs; in fact, the entire NFL is lucky the we don’t have to watch that bird-brained, vanilla, run of the mill pigskin play you try and pass off as football. Stop dwelling on the past and GET YOUR POPCORN READY!
