Heckert Loses Atlanta GM Job

Current Eagles’ General Manager Tom Heckert was at one time the front runner for the Atlanta Falcons vacant GM position, but he did not get the job. The Falcons instead hired the Patriots’ scouting director Tom Dimitroff.

Heckert will most likely stick around in Philadelphia for at least another season. He may explore more options in the future though. Hopefully he can now listen to his star Quarterback’s plea for help, and get this team some play makers.

I wonder what excuses Heckert gave Falcons owner Arthur Blank on why the Birds finished 8-8? Maybe Blank saw this post from Philly Purge on Heckert.
