NINER NOISE Joins Fan-Sided

NINER NOISE | A San Fransisco 49ers Blog

Fan-Sided has added another blog to the network. It’s a 49ers blog called NINER NOISE. The lead blogger there is Drew, and everybody should stop by his site to welcome him.

Drew thinks that the Niners might be moving to LA. I can’t see how a franchise with such great history could actually do that. That would be a huge mistake for that ownership. I remember when there were talks of the Eagles moving to LA. Thank god they got that stadium deal done.

Everybody go check out NINER NOISE.

Thanks for the shout out Ian!  As much it pains me to make the statement about the 49ers and moving to Los Angeles, I think it’s a valid discussion point.  It’s important for fan base to have faith in ownership, and it’s safe to say that the Yorks have blown their credibility with the 49er faithful.  Ask Cleveland Browns fans who had Art Modell hold them over a barrel.  I think they are more likely happy with their existing team the way it is now.  Also the York family has hinted at a move to the LA Market ever since they took over for Eddie DeBartolo, and as they won’t spend any of their own money to build a stadium in the bay area, it seems likely that LA is where they really want to be.

I thought I’d share a cowboy bashing post with you since I’m sure you hate them as much as I do.

No problem drew. Like I wrote in the post, the Eagles almost moved to LA. The current owner bought the team in 94, and threatened to move them if the state could not do a stadium deal.

Eventually it got done, but I always remember how much of a douche he is because of that.

Loria is a bit of douche.  It’s funny because I’ve got the 6 degrees of seperation thing going with him (step dad & him used to be friends or something in boston in the 50′s).  He always struck me as a self riteous prick, but a prick who got a new stadium built nonetheless.  At least you know your team isn’t going anywhere.

I give him a ton of credit for what he has done, but I just never liked the fact that he threatened to actually move my Iggles. Without the Birds Philadelphia just wouldn’t be the same.
