Running Back is also another position I think the Eagles are set at. Brian Westbrook just had an All-Pro season, Correll Buckhalter is a solid veteran backup, and last years third round pick Tony Hunt will look to possibly have a larger role this year. Ryan Moats is also still on the roster, and has an outside chance of making the team.
It will be interesting to see what the Eagles do at Full Back. Thomas Tapeh is a free agent, and I wonder if he will be re-signed. He is a solid blocker, but not a very good receiver. He also is not very great at running the football. He has had a few short yardage carries, and has not been great at that. His role in the offense is minimal overall, and I think the Eagles could look to upgrade the FB position if possible.
A very good free agent FB that should hit the market is Dan Kreider of Pittsburgh. He may be 30, but giving him a 2-3 year deal would be a great move. He is a tremendous lead blocker, and can catch the football if asked to do so. It will be interesting to see what the Birds do here.
