Chris- Thanks for checking out the site. I agree completely with you. Clemons is too light to start, but will be used in obvious passing situations as an edge rusher. He may also stand up, and be the "joker" at times. I like the move too, and think this was a great value signing.

Originally, I felt like this signing was a bit questionable. Clemons is a pure speed rusher that probably won’t hold up well at the point of attack. But as I think about it more and more, I think it gives Jim Johnson inredible flexibility. With Gocong and Clemons, he has two athletic and versatile players at his disposal. Clemons is not being brought in to start, he is being brought in to serve as the pass rusher specialist. Abimari will be the starter opposite Cole to hold up at the point of attack on running downs.
