Linc’d Up: What’s Next In Free Agency?
The Eagles made a huge splash in free agency, by acquiring the best defensive player available(Asante Samuel), and then getting an up and coming pass rushing defensive end(Chris Clemons).
Many fans are pleased, but now all the attention seems to be focused on wide receivers. The Birds’ tried to get Randy Moss, but were unable to land him, and there has been rumors of a possible trade for Larry Fitzgerald. In a recent interview with Derrick Gunn, Joe Banner denies the Fitz report, but he does say some interesting things about Lito. I will have the full interview up after it airs tonight at 10:00 on Comcast Sportsnet.
Eagles free agency news seems dead for now, but if I hear anything, I will let everybody know right away. Most of the best players are signed already, and things will be slow over the next fews weeks.
