Path To The Draft: Eagles On The Clock

NFL Network has been taking a look at every NFL team, and has a team representative from Scout.com predict what each team might do in this upcoming NFL draft. Andrew Pluta from Warnest.com gives his thoughts on what the Eagles need, and who they might draft.

I don’t agree with many of the things Pluta said. The idea of drafting Kenny Phillips at 19 is terrible. While Safety may be a need, I don’t see any safety, including Kenny Phillips being worthy of a first round pick. Pluta then goes on to talk about how the Eagles are looking at WR Earl Bennett from Vanderbilt. I like Bennett, but I certainly would not describe him as a big receiver like Andrew did(since when is a 5’11” 200 lb WR big?).
