Eagles Select Andy Studebaker With The 203rd Pick

DE/OLB Andy Studebaker from Wheaton (athletics.wheaton.edu)Andy Studebaker is an undersized defensive end, who may convert to linebacker in the NFL.

He reminds me a lot of current Eagle Chris Gocong, and I think they may have him develop into a SAM linebacker to backup Gocong.

Like Gocong, Studebaker played at a small school, and racked up sacks. He is a high energy guy who relentlessly goes after QBs. He also has a knack for making a lot of tackles for loss. For a 7th round pick he is a very intersting find, because he was so productive and has a ton of upside.

Andy is a smart kid who will probably end up being stashed away for his rookie season, for him to learn the LB position better(like Chris Gocong did).

Here are a bunch of YouTube videos on Studebaker. First is a video of his hustle plays, then there is a sacks video, after the break there is another sacks video, and finally there is a pro day video. Enjoy.
