Eagles Select King Dunlap With The 230th Pick

King Dunlap OT Auburn (scout.com)

King Dunlap is a LT from Auburn who was once considered a top prospect. He had a really bad year in 2007 mainly due to a left elbow injury he suffered early in the year. The poor season combined with some minor off the field troubles had Dunlap free fall in the draft to the 7th round. Dunlap has the talent to be good, and the Eagles decided to take a shot on him with their last pick of the draft.

Dunlap has tremendous size at 6’9″ 310 lbs, and can move pretty well on his feet. He is an intriguing prospect, and I really can’t wait to see him in training camp.

I think he has an outside chance of making the team, and even if he does not, he could be a very good prospect to keep on the practice squad.
