Oh and Ian, name one player other than Kurt Warner who was in the Arena league and ever amounted to anything in the NFL. Kurt Warner was also a grocery store clerk.

By your logic, perhaps the NFL should start hiring Safeway employees too. I mean, Kurt Warner! Two time MVP and superbowl MVP! There’s just as many grocery store clerk success stories as there are arena football success stories. Or close enough that statistically they’re about the same.

If the soul would have lost, I’d be saying “Who the hell are the soul?” I had no idea they were even in contention for any title, though I can’t help but snicker as I type that sentence while referring to Arena football.

I suppose if someone had stopped to explain to me who the Soul were and that they were in Philly and they *had* in fact choked, then yes I might have made some comment about Philly teams choking.

However, I far prefer to have Ian write some lame article pumping himself up and pretending like this is a big win for his city and a sign of things to come. High comedy at its finest.
So I have to ask, is their full name “Philadelphia HAS NO soul”?
