Second year left defensive end Victor Abiamiri has dislocated his right wrist, and there could be ligament damage according to head coach Andy Reid. Reid said that the wrist will require surgery, and VA will likely miss most of training camp.
This is very bad news, because the Eagles had very big expectations for Abiamiri this year. Jim Johnson has been going out of his way to praise Abiamiri, and there was a shot he could have even been a starter. This really sets his progress back, and right now we should just hope that he will be available for the regular season.

Another Hamstring Injury:
Merrill Reese reported that rookie WR DeSean Jackson left practice today with an apparent hamstring injury. DeSean also missed time during mini camp with a hamstring injury. No official word yet from the Eagles on his status.
This is also cause for some concern, because you never want to see a player have reoccurring hamstring injuries. Early reports have said that DeSean was very impressive, and Andy Reid said that he has a good shot to be used as a WR this year.
Laws Is Back:
Trevor Laws was taken off of the PUP(physically unable to perform) list, and had his first full contact practice with the Eagles today. With the injuries starting to pop up, it’s good to hear something positive.
Without Laws the DT depth seems weak. Montae Reagor, and Kimo von Oelhoffen were starting with the 2nd team.
“He looks fresh. He’s got fresh legs,” Young said. “He looks quick. I am impressed with his quickness and balance. I think he is going to be a good player.”
