Doubtful in the NFL means out. The stinger suffered by Asante Samuel last Sunday against the Ravens will sideline him for tonight’s game against Arizona. Not good news considering the Cardinals bring in the second ranked pass offense and a deadly trio of receivers in Anquan Boldin, Larry Fitzgerald, and Steve Breaston. The Birds will slide Lito Sheppard into Samuel’s starting spot. Lito better be on his game, if not it could be a long night for the defense.
Correll Buckhalter will also sit out due to a knee sprain. The diminutive and seldom used Lorenzo Booker is expected to see increased time. Doesn’t exactly inspire confidence is an already invisible running game.
