yes you are right. and thats why us blue collar cowboy fans are left scratchin are head sometimes. i feel like the majority of us at the landryhat are probably blue collar fans. but jones follows the money trail, no doubt. dallas texas is big money, but as the cowboys are refered to as americas team seems to be a contradiction of statements? i guess i’m just a lover of history. and yes i do “respect” that history. because history will always repeat it’s self. that is a fact. so as the cowboys once started off as blue collar team in a white collar world of dallas, will it become a white collar team in a blue collar world of the average fan? the economy seems to say so???? oh, well, you are right, may the “best” TEAM win on sunday

Dave, you represent a minority of Cowboys fans, at least from my experience. I’ve known quite a few and none of them shared your allegiance, respect for history or admiration for good guys like Staubach. And you have to admit, Jerry Jones has never seemed to market his team to the blue-collar demographic. I mean look at his brand new stadium. If that doesn’t scream wealth and white-collar, I don’t know what does. At any rate, may the best team win on Sunday.

also you guys should be very familiar with my alltime hero, roger staubach. he’s a naval accademy graduate and played his big games in philly. he was blue collar, a hiesman winner, an american hero. my dad always said ,”if your gonna like a football player and look up to one, it don’t get any better than staubach.” the kind of man every father would want his boy to emmulate. so was for me. so we’re pretty much cut from the same material the way i see it.
