Reports are circulating that Brian Dawkins has signed with the Denver Broncos. Actually, it’s one report from a Raiders‘ writer. Could be true, but no legit source has confirmed this.
What is confirmed, from Adam Schefter, is that the Broncos signed ex-Dolphins free safety Renaldo Hill to a four-year contract. Denver already has strong safety Marlon McCree on their roster. I’m not saying their isn’t room for Dawkins, but if the report is true he will likely move to strong safety, which at his age may be the best position for him.
Now, does Brian want to change teams and positions? Maybe, maybe not. If the story is confirmed, I’ll let you know.
