L.J. Smith Finally Finds a New Home

Well damn, it’s about time! According to the fine fellas over at ProFootballWeekly.com, L.J. is now a proud member of the Baltimore Ravens. Now they have another oft-injured tight end to go along with Todd Heap. I guess John Harbaugh felt sorry for the guy. After flirting with the Falcons for weeks, the Dirty Birds finally dumped him before he ever got to first base. Rough.

Anyway, L.J. makes the seventh Eagle to leave the nest since free-agency began. I wish him luck. He definitely needs it.

Good call, Chris! Although you're giving LJ too much credit. It will be two days into training camp when he strains his groin ;o)

Between John Harbaugh and Brad Childress, I think every former Eagle is guaranteed at least a spot in training camp.  I give it two weeks into training camp until L.J. is out with a strained groin that somehow lingers until week 7. At which point, he will play in week 8 but then hyper extend his kneed and sit out the next 8 games.
