Ugh. Considering the source, I hesitate to even broach this doozy, but according to PFT, the Eagles could be shopping Shawn Andrews.
On Monday, Les Bowen suggested Shawn “might” be unhappy with his contract due in large part to the money handed his brother Stacy and Jason Peters. Now, this was pure guesswork on Bowen’s part, but it still raised many eyebrows in Eagles Nation.
Here’s my take on what I believe it total BS. Why would the Eagles go to all the trouble to rebuild their offensive line only to turn around and trade away a two-time Pro Bowl guard? Hey, I realize Shawn isn’t the most stable guy in the world, but come on! This rumor makes ZERO sense.
I guess everyone on the Eagles’ roster is now unhappy with their contract. A full-scale revolt is about to happen. MUTINY ABOARD THE EAGLES SHIP!!! Please, stop.
The draft can’t get here fast enough.
