WOW!! I can’t believe they did it. The Eagles drafted a wide receiver in the FIRST ROUND!! Never saw this coming. I didn’t think Jeremy Maclin would drop all the way the the 19th pick. Birds traded up with the Browns and all they gave up was a 6th round pick. Great deal to add another playmaker.
This move also means DeSean will likely stop returning punts to concentrate more on becoming the #1 receiver. I like the selection because it’s a move that adds talent to an offense that needs it. Look for running back in the second or third round. What do you guys think of the Maclin pick?

Rich - They'll get a RB. Maclin was a Top 10 talent. You can't pass on talent. Smart pick at 19. Maclin doesn't need to be great right away. I think he'll take some time to learn the playbook.
