Andy Reid played meet the press at the Eagles first post-draft minicamp. Here are the highlights:
- Kevin Curtis had more surgery April 15 to fix his sports hernia. He’s supposed to be ready for the next OTA.
- Herremans had a knee cleaned out and Jean-Gilles is still recovering from his fractured ankle. Mike McGlynn was the starting left guard.
- Jack Ikegwuonu (I hate spelling this guy’s name) pulled a hammy. Not a great start for Jacky boy.
- When Andy was listing the leaders on defense he failed to mention Sheldon. Ten minutes later, he remembered the omission and called him a leader. Why do I think Reid leaving his name out initially was on purpose?
- The right tackle position is still unsettled. With Stacy rehabbing his knee, Shawn lined-up at right tackle. Reid seemed to insinuate that Shawn may end up being the man out there, not Stacy. Interesting to see how this plays out come training camp.
- Donovan still isn’t talking to the media. I’m not ready to read anything into this. It’s May 1.
- No dropped passes in the morning session!!! Let’s hope that continues.
As you can tell, nothing earth-shattering to discuss. It’s just nice to see the Birds back on the field.

You're right Jim, Shawn did play right tackle at Arkansas and was a beast. He seems more athletic than Stacy, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him slide out and Stacy move inside.
