DJax Hasn’t Lost His Confidence

Just finished reading Jeff McLane’s Inquirer piece on DeSean Jackson. Good stuff.
This quote from DJax stood out, regarding the endless rumors about acquiring a veteran receiver:
“It probably would have been a great addition to our offense with me being the one receiver and their having a little more experience,” Jackson said.”
I love this kid! Notice, he said he would be the “one,” not the new addition. Not Boldin. Not Braylon. Not Ocho.
Sorry, but I’ll take this guy’s bravado, route-running, speed and hands over the malcontent, the dropsies sufferer and the unwanted distraction.

Even T.O. shut his mouth the first few seasons, until J. Rice left. Lets hope D. Jax doesn’t turn nutty. But have you seen his Superman impression in high school that fell short of the goaline or the Cowboys game fumble? Rookie year/High school problems – I’m afraid at year 5 he is T.O. and Chad Ocho Cinco’s prodigee
