I would love to summarize what was said at the Sean McDermott press conference, but alas the feed on PE.com was sans audio. So, I was left watching Big Red and Little Red mouth answers for about twenty minutes. Oh, well. Guess I’ll have to wait for the beat writers to provide their takes. Or standby for a few hours to see if the archive has sound. I guess it pays to be at the actual press conference in person. Point, Mainstream Media.
Update: Listened to the archive. Initial reactions to McDermott: A composed, seemingly confident guy. Also, I like how he calls the reporters/writers by their first names when answering (Brian, Ruben, Les). Reid barely acknowledges a human being is speaking.
Not much on JJ’s condition. I didn’t expect Reid to get into it.
Congratulations to Sean McDermott. I don’t envy his position, but I think he has a bright present and future with the Iggles.
