In the coaches' eyes, he wasn't good enough to play the MIKE. That's why Bradley was moved there in 2008. Sorry, but he was benched in favor of Stew. Then he couldn't keep the WIL spot and was benched in favor of Akeem Jordan. In addition, if he was so good, why did they give Mays and Fokou a shot? Giving two guys who have almost zero and zero NFL experience a chance before Gaither tells anyone with common sense that they don't really like him. My notes are fine. Check yours.

Please go back and review your notes, because Gaither wasn't benched at middle linebacker, he was moved to weakside so that they could get the larger Bradley on the field. The argument that Gaither was pulled in favor of Bradley in the final games of the 2007 season doesn't fly either, he was moved to weakside due to an injury to Takeo Spikes.

He more than capably filled the role at middle linebacker, and before the media and fan's fascination with Bradley began, was considered the heir apparent at the position. He knows the defensive schemes and is a natural, vocal leader, two major components at the best position.
