Finally, a feel good story Eagles related. At halftime of the week 3 game versus the Chiefs, the Eagles will add one of my boyhood heroes, Randall Cunningham, to the team’s honor roll.
I still remember watching Randall deliver a 95-yard touchdown strike to Fred Barnett back in 1990 while playing the Bills in Rich Stadium. It ranks as the greatest play I’ve ever seen in person.
Congratulations to Rockin’ Randall on getting this much deserved honor. The franchise is doing right by him. And yes, I find it ironic that they chose the same game Michael Vick makes his triumphant return.
