Stacy Andrews Out, Max Jean-Gilles In

Posted by: Scott Tunstall

According to Brian Seltzer of 950 ESPN via Twitter, Stacy Andrews will not start on Sunday versus the Saints. Instead, they will go with Max Jean-Gilles. The reason given was Stacy not being “comfortable with the scheme.” Apparently, it’s not his knee. And he will rotate in during the game.

Stacy didn’t look particularly good against the Panthers, but this is a tad surprising. However, Reid has always said the five best lineman will play each week. Perhaps they want Stacy to be available to backup Winston, just to be safe. Whatever the case, we have one more shuffle along the O-line. Thus far, the Andrew Bros. are not living up to the billing.
