Oh, the Kevin Kolb haters will love this. According to Jeff McLane via his Twitter, Kolb will be named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance last Sunday versus the Chiefs. He completed 24/34 for 327 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions. For good measure, he also added a one-yard scoring plunge.

Congrats to Kolb! He deserves the honor. He joins DeSean Jackson as another NFC weekly winner. Jackson won the Special Teams Player of the Week back in week one. Who’s next? I predict Trotter will win the defensive player award by week ten. Wink.

....don't forget Shadey in the backfield for 2011....bubble screen.

fine guys, I'll admit it, I almost like Kolb now

This is really cool, I'm happy for him. I think he will eventually be a better fit for the west coast offense than McNabb is honestly. Not right now of course, but over time when he continues to get better. 2011 looks a bit brighter than many might have originally thought.

If Kolb is the man in 2011 (I think he will be), he will be throwing to DeSean, Maclin, Celek and hopefully Avant (in contract year) all in their prime. Donny never had that kind of talent early in his career.

I think we can all agree that Kolb ain't going anywhere.
