I dunno why I love it when the fullback is utilized in the offense, but I do. I remember fondly the days of Kevin Turner. Guy was always involved. Hopefully, Weaver will get the ball more, but I'm not confident he will :(

They blitzed Johnson hard and I loved it. He was able to make a few plays but he is a very mobile quarterback.

Maclin's breakout was awesome. The potential in the Jackson-Maclin combo is scary and could be there for years.

I agree with what you said about Asante's interceptions. They were gives, but very timely gifts. I didn't like how the defense let up some big drives.

Leonard Weaver is great. It's nice to have a real fullback again. They need to keep getting him touches. He can actually catch balls out of the backfield.

And can someone please tell me what the hell is going on with the wildcat/Vick?? I think the most effectiveness they have with the wildcat is when Shady is taking the snaps.

Yep, we know now the Off. can move the ball through the air (with Kolb or Donnie) and deliver the quick strike to Desean or Maclin at any point in a game. Next week would be a great opportunity to show we can also pound the ball down the field. Give Shady plenty of touches, let Brian shake off all the rust and show that yes he is healthy and give the OL a chance against another bad team to express their inner steam-roller. Sustained drives, dominant ball control. Some more Weaver sightings would also be nice.
