Eagles-Giants Prediction

Posted by: Scott Tunstall

If McNabb and the offense were clicking, this game would set up perfectly for the Eagles. The Giants are hurting in the secondary. DeSean and Maclin and Celek should find plenty of room to roam, but the question is will Donny be able to a) find them and b) hit them in stride.

Forget about the run game. Westy will be a no-go (barring a stupid decision that allows him to play). McCoy is struggling to a) trust his blockers and b) trust his instincts. He might be useful in the screen game, but don’t expect more than fifteen carries.

I like what I’m seeing from McDermott’s crew. If they can pressure Manning, it could be a good day for the guys in green. Can Sean Jones fill in at free safety? I’m not so sure. Look for Eli to attack that area of the field with Kevin Boss and Steve Smith.

For whatever reason, Eli plays well at the Linc. He’s won his last four. Big Blue wants some payback and I can’t envision them dropping three straight.

Giants 20, Eagles 16
