Brian Westbrook is a Navy SEAL

Signs are pointing toward Brian Westbrook returning to the lineup for Sunday’s potential playoff-clinching matchup with the Niners.

To help shield his twice concussed noggin, Westy will be donning some state of the art headgear. According to the Delco Times, he’ll be wearing a DNA helmet constructed with the same shock-absorbing technology that protects military soldiers, including Navy SEALS.

I always knew Westbrook was a stealthy player, but this takes it to another level. In all seriousness, I hope he can come back and stay healthy. One more head shot could end his career.

If this helmet is so special, why isn’t everyone wearing it? People don’t want to look like Don Beebe?

It’s a super-secret helmet, man. The government has been keeping it under wraps for years. Rumor has it, they used material from Area 51 to build it.

Hopefully this high-tech helmet doesn’t look nearly as ridiculous as other new fangled protective gear.
