Eagles-Broncos Prediction

Trap game? Could the Eagles be peeking ahead to next week’s duel in Big D? I hope not, because the Broncos, led by some guy wearing #20, need a win to keep their postseason aspirations alive.

Of course, so do the Birds. Well, not to get into the playoffs, but to increase their chances of capturing another NFC East division crown and to perhaps claim the #2 seed in the conference.

Let’s be clear. The Eagles offense is a rollin’ right now, and they welcome back both Westbrook and Maclin, although both will most assuredly be limited. Denver boasts a pretty stout pass defense, but that won’t stop Reid and Mornhinweg from dialing up the aerial attack, nor should it.

This will be a test for phenom DeSean. Can he smoke Champ Bailey? Will the Broncs have the stones to match Bailey one-on-one with him? It should make for an interesting chess match.

I like the momentum this team is riding and I don’t think it will expire this afternoon. Orange crush will come to play, but gang green has a little bit more on the line. When it’s all said and done, Westy will get more headlines than Dawk.
