Big Weave in da house! I guess those negotiations everyone was talking about yesterday between the Eagles and Leonard Weaver were legit. It took some time, but according to NFL Net’s Jason La Canfora, the Birds finally hammered out a three-year deal with their Pro Bowl fullback.
In my mind, getting Weaver a new deal was the #1 priority in free agency. His value last year and in the future cannot be measured. Needless to say, he can and will help the Eagles win games. Good move front office.
So, what’s next? Lots of rumors, but that’s all. Stay tuned.
