Focus is on Eagles Wideouts During Afternoon Practice
For good and bad reasons alike, the Philadelphia Eagles wide receivers were the topic of discussion throughout the afternoon practice at Lehigh University.
Update: The Eagles are calling the injury to DeSean Jackson a back injury, and the wide receiver is being evaluated tonight. Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson was carted off the training camp field with an injury after falling awkwardly. Jackson came up grasping his lower back and stayed down on the field. The wideout was later helped off the field by trainers, putting very little weight on one leg. Jackson made his way to a cart and was taken off the field with his hand covering his face. Jackson also made a brief visit to the trainers tent earlier in [...]
Kolb Excited To Go Live
Today was the first day of training camp that introduced some live elements, where it’s basically football at its finest. Everyone is taking pops (except the QB’s), and people are knocking off some of the rust that may have built up over the off season. This is truely where camp gets interesting. Our own Ryan Messick was at camp today when Kevin Kolb answered some media questions. The general feeling that we got from Kolb was that he was glad to get the pads on and see everyone out there competing and hitting. Although this is Kolb’s first camp as [...]
Eagles Players Happy to be Hitting Again
Kevin Kolb saw a streaking DeSean Jackson on the right sideline and hit him in stride for a 55 yard touchdown. With that, the Eagles were off and running.
First Full Contact Practice Includes Two Fights
Tempers flared during the first live scrimmage, with Riley Cooper and Ellis Hobbs squaring off after battling for position off the line of scrimmage.

Graham: Missed Time Was Purely Business
As you may have been reading in a few of our recent posts, our very own Ryan Messick is attending the Eagles training camp and reporting back with everything you need to stay up to date. Today Ryan had the opportunity to attend to a Q&A session with recently signed 1st round draft pick Brandon Graham. If you haven’t been keeping up with the draft pick signings, Graham was signed late last night and arrived in Philadelphia early Friday morning. He was one of the early few 1st round draft picks to sign their contracts and get to camp, only [...]
Eagles Acquire J.J. Arrington from Denver for Joe Mays
The Eagles traded linebacker Joe Mays to Denver in exchange for running back J.J. Arrington according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Mays was one of nine linebackers on the Philadelphia roster and had 18 tackles in 11 games last year. Mays is entering his third season in the NFL. Arrington has rushed for 654 yards on 183 carries during his four year career. The California product also has 91 career receptions for 693 yards. The 5’9, 212 pound running back spent the last four seasons with Arizona before signing with Denver in the offseason. Arrington was released on May 27, [...]

Eagles Sign First Round Pick Brandon Graham

Eagles Sign WR Perry, S Harris; Waive S Johnson
Just a brief update on a few moves the Eagles made today at training camp. Apparently the team waived S Brett Johnson due to a hamstring injury. They then proceeded to bring in free agent safety Antoine Harris, who went undrafted in 2005 but was picked up by Tennessee. He spent time there on the practice squad but moved on to Atlanta where he saw action in 13 games in 2007 and 12 in 2008. He’s got 21 career tackles and has had some trouble with a groin injury. Eagles also brought in 2 receivers to work out for them [...]
