Eagles Kolb and Bradley Out With Concussions

Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb drops back to pass on Flight Night.

Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb left today's game with a concussion and will not return.

Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb and middle linebacker Stewart Bradley both have concussions and will not return to today’s game against the Packers.  Kolb was injured on a hit from behind by Clay Matthews on a one yard run.

Kolb was 5-for-10 for 24 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in his first game as the Eagles starter and the third start of his career.  Kolb returned to the field after the hit, but did not return in the second half.

The Packers lead the Eagles 13-3 with 11:29 left in the third quarter.

    thank god he sucks, vick should have had the right to a competition with kolb for starting qb this summer.

    Vick isn’t the guy who is going to lead this team for the next 10 or so years. He’s already 30, and he is what he is – a dynamic player who turns it over a lot.

    Kolb at least has a shot at becoming the next franchise QB, which is the reason it’s an easy decision who should be starting. He’s also a better fit for this offense, although he certainly didn’t show it today.
