Eagles backup quarterback Michael Vick has taken over for an injured Kevin Kolb, but the Eagles trail 27-10 at the end of the third quarter.

The Packers lead the Eagles 27-10 after three quarters.  Aaron Rodgers has a pair of touchdown passes, the most recent a 32-yard strike to Greg Jennings.  Rodgers found Donald Driver from six yards out in the second quarter.  Green Bay’s other touchdown came on a 3-yard run by John Kuhn in the third quarter.

With Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb sidelined due to a concussion, Michael Vick is getting his first true chance in the regular season since his NFL return.  The speedy quarterback has been up and down.  Vick’s dynamic 31-yard scramble across the field to the far corner got the Eagles down to the Packers’ 2-yardline and set up a touchdown run by LeSean McCoy.  The next time the Eagles had the ball though, Vick threw well behind Jason Avant on a third down pass that was nearly intercepted.

Vick is 6-of-8 for 42 yards through the air and has run seven times for 77 yards.  The Packers still lead though, with a pair of touchdowns.  Aaron Rodgers and Donald Driver hooked up on a six yard strike in the second quarter and John Kuhn punched one in from three yards out in the third quarter.  Throw in a pair of field goals and Green Bay leads 20-10.

Kolb’s debut as the Eagles starter was short lived and lackluster, as he completed just five of his 10 passes for 24 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions.  A few of his passes were nearly intercepted.  LeSean McCoy carried the ball five times for 28 yards and his score, while DeSean Jackson has three catches for 18 yards.  All of Jackson’s receptions have come from Vick.

Rodgers is 19-of-27 for 188 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.  Greg Jennings has five catches for 82 yards and a touchdown, while Jermichael Finley has caught four passes for 47 yards.
