It looked like a defensive struggle early on in the first quarter, with both teams going three and out on their first drives. Vick went 6-of-8 on the drive for 59 yards, with two key completions. On 2nd and 18 from the Eagles 24 yardline, Vick stayed patient in the pocket before finding DeSean Jackson over the middle for a 23-yard gain. Six plays later on 3rd and 9 at the Giants’ 28 yardline, Vick again found Jackson for a first down, this time picking up 13 yards.
