Eagles Need DeSean Jackson to Find More Ways to Produce

DeSean Jackson makes a catch during practice on Sunday.

DeSean Jackson has just eight catches for 86 yards in nearly three full games since his 88-yard touchdown to open the Monday Night game in Washington.

In this week’s article on NFL.com’s Blog Blitz, I took a look at DeSean Jackson’s numbers broken down by the length of his receptions and examined why he needs to do more in the short and intermediate passing game in order to see more balls thrown his way.  Jackson is currently the Eagles third-most targeted receiver behind Jeremy Maclin and LeSean McCoy.
