The Lions did indeed vindicate you. They should have two victories over the Bears. 1st week of the season, the Calvin Johnson no-TD call was a really bad call and they were victims of the first week under new, confusing rules. The second game they were winning when Nd. Suh was called for a personal foul when he just pushed Jay Cutler down. That sustained the drive for the winnning TD. I am not a Lions fan, but they were screwed twice by the refs and lost close games to the 10-4 Bears. The second game was without Matt Stafford, by the way. They will be tough in the next few years.

I hate to inform you Ryan but Deseans reference when he said ” That was for you howie ” was not for the Eagles general manager, nor did it have contract implications behind it as a snide dig at the front office as you have eluded to. The comment was aimed at the self imposed ” King of the media “, none other than the mouth, Howard Eskin. They spoke some time before the game and Eskin said, ” Hey , Desean, get me a punt return! ” and Desean responded to him that he would. If you are going to write things as FACT, you are going to have to do a little more research, and get your facts tightened up. Thanks for the blogs and ENJOY the run to DALLAS!!
