The Return of Brian Westbrook? Miami Reportedly Interested in Former Eagles’ Running Back

by Breaking News

Former Eagles’ running back and fan favorite Brian Westbrook had a recent workout with the Miami Dolphins, according the several reports. Apparently, Miami is bullish on fragile running backs, ones that can’t carry a full workout load, or, you know, carry the ball inside.

Westbrook took to Twitter to let everyone know that he had a “killer” workout for the Dolphins, but it remains yet to be seen if Miami has any significant interest.

Westbrook, now 32, has been injury plagued and rarely effective since 2008 when he compiled over 1300 total yards and 14 touchdowns.

Westbrook started five games for San Francisco last season, gaining 340 yards on the ground to go with four touchdowns. Stay tuned.
