Beautiful play design. Better execution.

Ronnie Brown and the Worst Goal Line Run of All-Time

Ronnie Brown was a much heralded signing made by the Eagles during their free agency bonanza.

The perfect compliment to LeSean McCoy. An experienced goal line runner. Someone that can punch in that tough yard.

Well, none of that has exactly happened. Brown has played four forgettable games with the Eagles.

Check out this line:

In four games, Brown has carried 13 times for 38 yards and 0 touchdowns.

Despite Brown’s complete lack of productivity, he will forever go down in Eagles lore–for the worst goal line carry in the history of professional football.

With 7:14 remaining in the first half, the Eagles faced a third and goal from the San Francisco one-yard line. That’s when they turned to Brown, the experienced goal line runner. Let’s just say it didn’t work out.

In fact, had Brown stripped out of his uniform and defecated on the football prior to handing it to Patrick Willis it would have been a better play than what you can view below.

I don’t get how this team is 1-3 right now. Naw mean?
