The Eagles currently sit as a 1.5 point favorite against Washington on Sunday.
I feel like I’ve asked this question a few times over the last few weeks.
The Redskins (3-1) host the Philadelphia Eagles (1-4) on Sunday afternoon. The Eagles are on a four game losing streak, and their season has spiraled out of control. Last week’s Eagles-Bills line (Eagles were favored by 3) raised eyebrows given Buffalo’s quick start and the Eagles early struggles. This week’s game presents a similar dynamic. Washington has been smart with the football, stingy on defense, and finding ways to win. The Eagles, meanwhile, have seemingly invented new ways to lose. Despite the fact these two teams appear headed in two very different directions, it’s the Eagles getting the love from Vegas.
It’s too early in the week to divulge a lean, let alone a pick for this game, but it’s certainly a line that indicates an impending Eagles victory. That’s a lotta of love for a team playing on the road with a pitiful defense, erratic offense, and an embattled coaching staff.
