Eagles-Patriots Gameday Predictions

Predictions:

Steve Fini: I picked the Eagles to lose last week and they won. I’m picking them to lose again this week so that maybe it will happen again. I don’t think the Patriots are great this season, but they do have great players.

I fully expect Tom Brady to completely confuse Eagles defensive coordinator Juan Castillo and have early success. I also think that Aaron Hernandez or Rob Gronkowski might set the record for receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns in a game by a pair of tight ends by day’s end. Eagles go down hard and we all can officially look to next year. Patriots, 34-17.

Bob Wankel: I’d have to go back and check, but I’m pretty sure I’m 3-7 picking Eagles games this year. I don’t see how Juan Castillo is going to devise a scheme that confuses Tom Brady. I don’t see the Eagles getting up for a second straight game the way they did against New York last week. And even against a mediocre defense, I don’t see Vince Young going blow for blow with the Patriots’ offense. 30-20, Patriots.
