It’s a bit unusual for Jeffrey Lurie to speak to reporters so soon after the season ends. But Lurie will hold such a press conference tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 p.m. to discuss the overall direction of his team.
It’s also a bit unusual for the head coach to delay his day after press conference until the owner speaks.
And so with that, conspiracy theorists/Andy Reid haters will cling the slight hope that Lurie’s press conference will result in an announcement regarding the termination of the current head coach.
To those people I’d say, don’t hold your breath.
Lurie will likely detail the team’s plan moving forward, spin the organization’s failure to back up its early season talk, and answer questions regarding the futures of Reid, defensive coordinator Juan Castillo and wide receiver DeSean Jackson.
