Eagles’ Secondary Coach Johnny Lynn Fired

The first head rolled today in what should be a major defensive overhaul.

Secondary coach Johnny Lynn has been let go by the Eagles.

Nnamdi Asmougha didn’t dominate as many thought he would and Asante Samuel had his worst season in an Eagles uniform.

Letting go of the secondary coach could mean that more changes of the defensive personnel are imminent. This means that there is a good chance that Castillo will be fired. Could this move be a move that’s a precursor to a Steve Spagnuolo hire? Whatever the Eagles do, they need to move quick–Spagnuolo has reportedly drawn interest from several teams.

Stay tuned.
