Look out, Clay Harbor. The Eagles will bring veteran tight end Visanthe Shiancoe in for a look tomorrow as the team is apparently interested in bolstering its depth behind starter Brent Celek.
Shiancoe’s last big season came in 2009 when he was one of Brett Favre’s favorite red zone targets in Minnesota. Shianchoe, 32, has seen his production drop off in recent years. He posted 36 catches for 409 yards and three touchdowns a year ago. According to Pro Football Focus, Shiancoe was used as a blocker on 51 percent of the snaps he played in a year ago.
