People have long complained that high prices make it near impossible for a family to take in an Eagles game at Lincoln Financial Field.
That won’t be the case on Monday night–or for the rest of this season.
With the team spiraling out of control and out of playoff contention, ticket prices have experienced a steep decline.
Online ticket retailers such as StubHub are posting tickets at a once unimaginable $25 per seat for Monday night’s game. Still, there may be better deals to be had.
Many season ticket holders are unloading their tickets for free to relieve themselves of bad football in bad weather and exorbitant parking prices. If you’re not lucky enough to have freebies fall into your lap, a simple six-pack of beer may do the trick.
One could argue that such low prices and an anticipated decline in attendance are an indictment of Eagles fans, but what the hell does any right-minded person expect at this point?
