Perhaps this isn’t surprising for an underachieving 4-11 trainwreck of a football team, but the Philadelphia Eagles did not have a single player named to the initial Pro Bowl rosters announced on Wednesday evening. It is the first time the Eagles haven’t had a Pro Bowler since the 1998–Ray Rhodes’ final year in Philadelphia.
For those looking for positives? That roster included the likes of Brian Dawkins, Hugh Douglas, Bobby Taylor, Troy Vincent, Jeremiah Trotter, Ike Reese, and Tra Thomas. There were ultimately a few Pro Bowl selections among that group, if you recall.
