Cris Carter Elected to Hall of Fame; Watch His Best Work Here

Newly inducted Hall of Fame wide receiver Cris Carter cut his teeth in Philadelphia before blossoming into one of the game’s all-time legends in Minnesota. And while it’s hard to stomach that only 19 of Carter’s 130 career touchdowns occurred in an Eagles uniform after being selected by the team in the fourth round of the 1987 supplemental draft, it’s still hard not to be happy for the man as it was announced Saturday that he would finally be immortalized in Canton.

Carter was a consummate professional who lit up the stat sheets and was nearly unstoppable in the red zone. Here’s Carter at work, with a few reminders that he may have been the additional offensive weapon a mediocre Eagles offense could have used during those failed playoff runs of the Buddy Ryan era.
